Could I have a better relationship with anyone than my esthetician? Maybe. However, out of all the people I go to for beautification...she just might be my fave! There is such a homey feel about her salon. I have followed her to four salons which include two of her own and her current one is my favorite. It is very private, very relaxing, and she is "DA BOMB."
I think it is really important when you are finding someone for facials, waxing, or anything skin care or beauty related to be comfortable with who you are going to. Sometimes, it does not "pay" to look for the cheapest price. My esthetician, Camaille, is the best I have ever been to. She is gentle in her work, funny with her words, and is warm and friendly.
Camaille is the person you trust implicitly with your skin and your body. Her sister who helps run the salon is also amazing.
They are both dear friends and I adore them!
Camaille can do anything and she does almost all of it using organic products. First of all, I won't let anyone touch my eyebrows but her, second she does the best facials I have ever had...and I never break out. She is an expert when it comes to knowing what is good for your skin. If you are interested in the organic products she uses (many of which I have tried and still use), leave me a comment and I will get you the info and put you in contact for a phone consultation.
Anyway....Cheers to having the best beauty squad on your side possible!

Migi Nail Art--Possible Christmas Gift? COUPON CODE!
I have always liked a little somethin' somethin' on my nails here and there. However, I really don't like flowers made of five white dots and a colored stone in the middle. So this past summer, I did a lot of looking around. I found some nail paint brushes that are half nail polish and half art brush, and they are really good for some things.
However, I needed something for an unsteady hand to create a good outline and design. I found http://www.miginailart.com/. So far, I only have a few colors and I am building my collection slowly. I got the basics of black and white, but they have a major sale going on right now, so if you are interested, this would be the time to buy. These are really cute to give to pre-teens and teenagers as well.
To get all five sets of these pens is $99. However......there is currently a 20% off discount code. There is a lifetime guarantee and free refills for life. Products don't come with that kind of guarantee unless they mean business.
I have tried a lot of nail products but this is one of my favorites. There is a drawing tip, and then a twist cap in which you can pull out a regular nail polish brush and paint your nails.
Regardless which package you pick up, I think this is a great product to play around with. Especially if you just want to chill with your girlfriends or your daughters, sisters, etc....and be creative and have fun.
Sets start as low as $19, I believe. Choose your color set or sets and at the checkout enter the code MIGI to get your 20% off. The holiday set comes with a clear coat as well. This product is by far easier to use than most of the other nail art products I have used. When you purchase a set, it also comes with a book of "how to designs."
Click here for the Migi Nail Art Website
They also have a channel on youtube in which you can see previous contests they have held and get design ideas here to view live demonstrations
I am going to use mine for a design this week. I like to put a design on my thumb or ring finger only most of the time to add some extra wow factor without feeling like it is too much.

Final update on buff puff and Clarisonic.
I have been using the Buff Puff several times a week now, and it has started to dry my face out a bit and I am starting to peel right under my lip. So I have recently cut it back to twice a week and the peeling is going away and I still get the glowy skin look.
After using the buff puff daily for awhile, I constantly looked ruddy. I hated that.
So, it is not a replacement for a Clarisonic or a Galvonic Spa from NuSkin. I love the Galvonic Spa, but I think my mom likes it more than I do! One day I will purchase a Clarisonic. I have to do more research on which kind would best suit me, I am guessing the Mia with the sensitive attachment head would work the best.
FYI--January's issue of Glamour has a great advertisement for the Clarisonic and I don't know if it has been photo shopped but the girl looks AH-Mazing!
My friend Heidi who has a youtube channel http://www.youtube.com/jalapena2007 has a gorgeous complexion. The Mia is one of her top secrets. Check out her videos and learn her other tips and tricks.
Let me know if you would like more information on the NuSkin Galvanic Spa. I can do pictures of the product, attachments as well as some before and after pics. Maybe I will do half of my face and show you the difference. It is an expensive machine with expensive upkeep, but it is well worth it.

Book Review: Bad Ass by Shannen Dougherty
I was immediately intrigued when I heard Shannen was writing a book. I don't know what I was expecting, but I had adored her since I was a pre-teen. I had the "Brenda hair" all through high school, I am still searching for a Dylan (oh wait, he treated her bad...hmmm....maybe I already dumped him). I just knew she was one of my idol's growing up.
When I got this book I thought the cover was beautiful, but I always take off the jackets just because I hate for them to get worn while reading. To my surprise the book itself was engraved with almost a feel of the writing on a bottle of Jack Daniels. Is Jack Daniel's bad ass??
I get to around the third page taking in the very thick pages, the good binding, and then realize how LARGE the print was. Close to that of children's books. Ok, no biggie. Move on. One of the first comments made (and this is not word for word) is that she does not like tell all books because she doesn't believe in people trying to excuse their mistakes or explain them away. Ok. If she had stopped there I would have been fine. Then she said (again paraphrased) she could name one tell all off the top of her head that did that. (For those who have not read sTori Telling by Tori Spelling, you may not understand the dig). Tori, discussed briefly what happened while she was friends with Shannen and while Shannen was on the show.
I will tell you what I did not like about this book. While I realize it was a pseudo self help book into making women feel empowered, I don't like being called bitch, bad ass, or anything like that. (However, I get what she is trying to do). I had a really hard time reading the book due to the amount of times the phrase bad ass was used on a single page. On one page that had only a few sentences and a dialog box I counted as many as 5. As I type the phrase now, I cringe. Overall, I believe I was just expecting more overall from Shannen.
What I liked about this books is that Shannen shows that she has changed, her values, her love for family, admits to being messed up when she was young, and gives a modern girls guide to living basically. Particularly for single women. She has some great family photos and personal photos that she shares. She is also brutally honest. That was compelling.
Now, for what I LOVED about this book! Like I mentioned, my copy was really well put together as far as binding, page thickness, and paper quality. It will make a great addition to my coffee table book collection. Part of the reason for that is because inside she has some great photographs. Not just of herself but of random things that make you feel good. Finally, I loved that she included several lists in this book. As a fellow list maker, I LOVED this aspect of the book. She even had some great lists for makeup items. :)
On a scale of 1-10, I would give this book a 7.
I would recommend getting this book on Amazon or on a sale somewhere. I would not pay $25 for it.
xoxo

(OFFEER IS EXPIRED) Sigma Brush Discount! Monday only! (Updated)--Sale started already!
**Originally this sale was to start Monday, it started today! So hurry and get your order in.**
On Monday you can get $20 off the Pink Sigma Complete Brush Roll set. It includes 12 basic brushes that you will use every day-- stored in an adorable pink roll. I personally have this set and I am able to store all of my additional favorite brushes in there, as well such as the Sigmax collection! Click on the Sigma Banner to the left to take advantage of this offer or just check out what Sigma has to offer you this holiday season!
Some of my other favorites are the PRO set (particularly the dome brushes), the heart mirror that is crystal encrusted and the flat-top, retractable Kabuki brush! The travel sets are also amazing. My personal opinion is to get a Naughty or Nice set with Basic brushes and then the Professional Set as well. That way you can mix and match your favorite brushes for your perfect travel set no matter where you are going. Most girls will want different brushes for different trips and Sigma has given us the ability to mix and match while still being stylish.
You can also buy an individual brush roll and individual brushes. I got an empty brush roll for my sister who can mix and match her brush collection and keep them in good condition and in one place.
These brushes are superior to MAC and any other high end brush I have ever tried, including Chanel. They are extremely soft. I have never had a problem with them shedding or farrels coming loose. This is a great gift for someone who loves makeup.

Update on Buff Puff usage
So, after using my Buff Puff for several days I would like to report that my pores are visably smaller, my skin is glowing, my face creams seem to be working better and my foundation just glides on my skin. I don't have to worry about rough spots, overly dry skin, and knock on wood---no breakouts.
I am very happy with this product and will be going to Sally's Beauty to pick up the less expensive brand.
I highly recommend trying the sensitive version or Sally's Beauty Supply version with a light hand and gentle cleanser (not an exfoliating cleanser) if you cannot afford the clarisonic or professional peels right now.
Have a fabulous day dolls!

Hourglass Cosmetics Review (Face products only)
Hi dolls!
So recently I have been contemplating finding an "off day" foundation. I have contemplated Tarte, Cargo, MUFE HD, Estee Lauder Double Wear, Laura Geller Balance and Brighten and even trying one of the newer MAC foundations. (sidenote: I am allergic to MAC foundation products.) You may be asking yourself why I am looking...well, I love my Hourglass foundation but it can be a bit pricey and in addition, I am a makeup addict. I love trying new things. Hourglass, however, is one of those foundations that you look at and the packaging is so pretty it is used as vanity decoration. Then I realize I am halfway done with each of my bottles (1 primer, 1 shade in No.1 and one shade in No. 2) and freak. This is "holy grail" foundation for me.
Let me tell you a bit more about my skin. Besides being extremely sensitive, it can get VERY DRY and it tends to "eat makeup". I found this primer and foundation during the summer when I was attending weddings and showers and other events in the California desert where temperatures reach 115 degrees. This makeup stayed on PERFECTLY! Without a setting powder and without touch ups. Through dancing, perspiration, crying--you name it. It is like magic in a bottle.
I was a sun-worshiper from the age of probably 7 until I was 31. That is a long time to lay in the sun with baby oil, vegetable oil, homemade concoctions and Hawaiian Tropic oil without SPF. Now I am paying the price. I haven't been in the sun in a few years but I have severe discoloration in the way of freckles and redness despite my Italian/Hispanic background. I also am getting more fine lines around my eyes than I can handle. So when I tried this product and it gave me an as close to flawless face as someone in their 30's can get...I grabbed it....now I can't let go. I won't be wasting money on other foundations. I may continue to test and sample, but it may take miracles to outdo these face products for me personally. I did try 4 or 5 different drug store brands, but my skin is too sensitive and they give me rashes or break me out.
Now lets talk about the Hourglass products:
For my fine lines, dryness, and larger pores around my cheeks and nose I use the Veil Mineral Primer. This primer is superior to any that I have tried before. It creates a smooth base for my foundation to lay on, fills in lines, wrinkles and pores without clogging the skin, and tones down the red due to the slight blue hue. **Note that when this white liquid with blue undertones is blended into the skin it becomes invisible. Many people use it with a light dusting of powder or alone just to make their skin seem more flawless.** I don't find any downfall to this product whatsoever. I do however want to remind anyone who has it to shake it well before using. I only use between 1/2 - 1 pump of this product to cover my entire face.
Next, I use the Veil Fluid Makeup. As I said, I have two shades and it is because I was incorrectly shade matched at two different Sephoras. I prefer my face to match my neck which is naturally lighter and then to warm up my skin with bronzer and blush. This product is a bit thick as it is full coverage and long wearing. Still, I use 2 pumps. I do this because I love a nice even layer and I blend down my neck slightly (and it doesn't transfer to clothing). I use 1 pump of each color and use my Sigma F80 Flat Top Kabuki or F82 Round top Kabuki. I will explain the use of the brushes in a different blog. However, they are both synthetic which means that less product gets trapped in the brushes and more gets applied to my face. I have even noticed that during the day I can use a half pump of each shade and still get good coverage using these brushes as the foundation + brush= an airbrushed finish.
I did recently contact Hourglass Cosmetics asking if since I was combining these two colors I could switch to a 1.5. We would all think that is a no brainer, but the undertones in the foundations are different. For example, I have yellow and pink undertones. When I use the #1 which is very yellow on me, I find it harder to blend into my jaw/neckline. The #2 shade isn't as bad for some reason and has more pink undertones. Still, neither fit my specific need. I wanted one bottle of foundation. Hourglass was very quick in their response and even sent me a sample of the 1.5 to test at home. It is literally the perfect combination for my skin. I have never been happier with a color or a formula.
I have never liked wearing concealer because it always seemed to emphasize my lines. I don't have bad circles regardless of my insomnia, nor do I have puffiness unless I have been crying. I love the Hourglass Hidden Concealer, and I use it in the shade Pearl. It is I believe the lightest color and it is almost always sold out, so I have a backup in my backup drawer at all times. It comes in the form of a lipstick bullet, yet it is extremely creamy. I wouldn't have expected that based on the packaging. I take a small amount on the concealer brush that comes in my Sigma Complete Brush set and put some around my nose if needed, under my eyes and above my cupids bow. Then I use my fingers to lightly push it into the skin. It melds with my skin thus does not become cakey or crackly. Then I use Makeup Forever HD translucent powder to set the concealer only rather than an over priced under eye concealing powder. To do this, I use the fluffy brush that comes in that same Sigma kit. This product is 100% Silica and it feels so cool and soothing when I dust it under my eye area. It is an added benefit that my concealer lasts all day and my mascara never transfers.
I won't lie, these are not inexpensive products by any means. They range from the mid $30's to $60. However, they last a long time, they have anti-aging benefits, SPF, and a special ingredient called Matryixl that aides the skin in collagen production. In fact, many people who have reviewed these products have said this is literally your daytime skin care and to save your expensive skincare for night time. Click here to check out the Hourglass website or you can find this product at Sephora.com or Saks.
I can honestly say I feel a difference when I have not worn this makeup in a while (sometimes I just use The Balm's tinted moisturizer to save product and because I am not going anywhere special). It has visibly changed my skin. I feel like I am at my most beautiful when I wear this product. I could wear these three products, mascara and chapstick and be content. Which if you know me is funny because I can rival any drag queen when it comes to my colorful eye makeup looks if I want to. :)
I see the face as a blank canvas. It is fun to play and paint and make the pretty naked canvas a pretty painted canvas that can change daily.
Not everyone wears makeup and I get that. Makeup is my hobby. It makes me feel better. I love the beautiful colors, the history behind it and reading up on ingredients is becoming a new fascination with me as well. With that said, I think even people who don't like to wear makeup may want to sample the Hourglass Tinted Moisturizer.
I wanted to let you know that these are paraben free. Recently some studies have shown that parabens, which are found in most cosmetics, soaps, body washes, hair products, etc. have a link to breast cancer. I used to be of the mindset that "everything seems to cause cancer" and now I am trying to be more informed about what I am putting on my face and in my body.
I hope this blog gave you some information on a brand you may not have heard of. If you would like to sample the foundations or primers, you can contact Hourglass or visit one of the stores listed above.
Have gorgeous dreams dolls!

Buff Puffs? Are we back in the 80's?
The other day, I did what I do most Sundays. I tweeze my eyebrows outdoors. Don't try this at home kids...particularly with a magnifiying mirror. You realize the true size of your pores, fine lines and any skin imperfections.
I tried to calculate in my head what I spent on skin care alone this year, yet my lines seem deeper and my skin just isn't as smooth as it was when I could afford bi-weekly facials and other treatments.
So I thought back to when my skin looked the best. There were actually two seperate times. For the sake of this blog post I will talk about my teen years. I never once had acne until I stared using Mac Studio Fix in my 20's. I thought about what I used as a teen. Lancome and other department store foundations and a Buff Puff with Phisoderm (which I do not think they make anymore, but it was similar to Cetaphil) and Neutrogena sunscreen.
Granted we all have great skin when we are young, even if some of us do have acne. However, I was watching a video by @theglamfairy from Jerseylicious on youtube.com and she said she would use an Oil of Olay cleanser (It is the one that fights blemishes and wrinnkles), a buff puff or the apricot scrub. I know I am too sensitive to use the apricot scrub more than once a week and I want a fresh glow for the holidays, so I opted for the Buff Puff.
Since I cannot afford a clarisonic at this time, I thought this was a great alternative. I use Philosophy's purity made simple with my buff puff and a fairly light hand to buff my face, neck and declote each night for the past 4 nights, and I already see a huge difference. More so than with my $400 NuSkin machine (which isn't meant for exfoliation), but my skin does glow much more. I think I will continue with this every day for one more week and then go to 3 times a week and NuSkin twice a week.
I encourage you all to try a Buff Puff. They are between 4 and 6 dollars. I would start with the sensitive ones. I hear Sally's Beauty Supply may have an off brand that is not only cheaper but less rough as well. Don't press too hard, and lightly buff away the skin cells making your skin look older than you feel. :)
I will do a seperate review on my NuSkin Galvanic Spa another day. It is a great machine and greatly overpriced.

Congrats to Emily (EmilyNoel83)!!!! Please read!
Youtube held a contest in which youtubers and watchers got to vote for the up and coming youtuber. Anyone can tell that Emily is extremely dedicated to what she does on youtube in addition to being a full time news broadcaster. She does most of her tutorials and review on drug store makeup that my skin can't hang with.....BUT ....I get a lot of ideas and laughs from her. She is so fun to watch and on the occasions she does review high end cosmetics, I am always watching. Her links are below and I highly encourage you to check her out! LOVE HER! PLUS You have to watch the video about her winning. Youtube asked her to introduce herself and I love her new edditing skills. I got a web cam!!!! I wanna do a haul
So you all know how hard it is to do a haul over a blog. I am learning how to work my web cam and trying to find some good lighting. I have amassed many things from June until Friends and Family and I want to share them. A lot of them are things we have all seen, they have been recommended to me by YT friends, but none are drug store...wait...1 is. Soooo, that is what I am working on beauty wise at the moment. I don't know how doing a proper tutorial on a web cam is possible, because I cannot zoom in well enough, so I may follow in the footsteps of LisaLisaD1, or LovePeaceandLipgloss and do it from afar.
Sigma brushes! OMG....LOVE THEM! You will see these in all my videos. I think the only brushes I am currently using that are not sigma are a fan brush, a stippling brush and possibly a fluffy bare brush from Sephora in some looks.

UPDATE: October is my favorite month of the year!
I have no idea why it is my favorite month of the year. It could be because my hometown had actual seasons...well as close to California gets to having seasons. :) The leaves would change, the flannel shirts would come out (kidding...kinda), we could dress really warm, it was just a lot of fun growing up. By the beach, not much changes in the way of seasons unless you count the palm trees shredding and having to swerve around branches as not to pop your tires with the prickly tips. Although, I think that is a myth. I never heard of anyone who it actually happened to. haha
SIDENOTE: I don't really understand why anyone other than surfers would want to live by the beach after living here nearly half of my life. I went to the beach MORE when I lived in the desert. Perhaps it is because now I look at the contamination levels of the water, hear about spills, all the stuff that makes you say "ewww" to going in the ocean. I think I have also been spoiled by swimming in the ocean surrounding both Hawaii and the Caribbean where it is warm and you can see your feet!
I also LOVE LOVE LOVE horror movies, horror and Halloween related events...so this is definitely the right month for me! Dressing up in costumes, going to parties, just having fun! Also, Yankee candles comes out with some great scents this month. I have also heard a lot of buzz about Bath and Body Works new candle fragrance called Leaves. I think I might try that out. I usually order the pumpkin spice type scent from Party Lite at this time of the year, but I don't know anyone who sells it anymore. Good thing, because I always get suckered by direct sales. :)
Also, October is Italian Heritage month! Check out this site http://www.italianheritagemonth.com or Google Italian Heritage month for more information! I am updating this blog because I also just found out this is Hispanic Heritage Month. Both of my nationalities celebrated in one month! I wish we had Italian festivals here. The Hispanic Heritage Month starts September 15th and ends October 15th. However, we have various festivals and celebrations all year in my area. For more info on Hispanic Heritage month go here.
So what do you all love about October?

Boscia Skin Care Review
This review has been a long time coming. I began using the really long wearing cosmetics this summer as I had many events to go to that were in the desert area and I didn't want my makeup running down my face. Well, the problem with many of these long wearing formulas are that the skin care we used to use doesn't work as well to take off this type of makeup. I tried cold creams, makeup remover wipes, washing my face three times with one of my favorite cleansers...it just either didn't work or dried out my skin.
In August, I was in San Jose. At some point during this trip, we went to San Jose's version of the Beverly Center (I cannot remember the name, but it is quite beautiful for a mall). I immediately ran to Sephora to grab some eye shadows I had seen reviewed by one of my favorite "gurus" on youtube. I also told the sales lady I was having a hard time taking off some of my makeup. She recommended I try Boscia. She described it as an oil. As soon as she said oil, my mind was thinking "Lady you are out of your mind!" She gave me a small Sephora sample, but the heat somehow popped open the cap and it spilled in the trunk. Luckily it was small.
I did receive some samples a week later from the company. They sent me the following:
The Vital Daily Moisture SPF 15 worked well also. I felt moisturized, and was glad it had sun protection. My only negative on this product is that I really try not to tan anymore at all, as I used to be "tanorexic" and have a lot of freckles and hyper-pigmentation. I think I would have liked perhaps an SPF 30-45. Other than that, I really enjoyed the lightness of this moisturizer while it still hydrated my skin. It also worked great under all of my different face products including; primers, tinted moisturizers I am trying to use up that don't moisturize much, pancake type makeup, mousse makeup and my long wearing foundations.
The Enlivening eye treatment is one of my other favorite products from this company! I am an eye cream junkie. This is so light, yet moisturizing. I used to use a brand that is hard to find now, and it was heavy and greasy. I noticed even with how heavy it was I was getting fine lines. With the Boscia Enlivening Eye Cream, I would look awake and moisturized all day.
The Medium tinted moisturizer was also really nice. Much more moisturizing than my other moisturizers with tints. However, I did use a little bit of the Vital Daily Moisture with it because I like when my skin feels really hydrated (not greasy). It was light coverage, but something in the formula made my skin luminous enough to be fine without wearing heavier foundation. Luminous girls...not oily. ;)
Now to my favorite product...one of my new "Holy Grail Products"....The Makeup-Breakup Cooling Cleansing Oil. I was terrified this would break me out. The directions are to apply it on dry skin and work it around and basically watch your makeup melt off. It worked. I had on my most stubborn primers for my foundation and eyeshadow as well as a very long wearing foundation and waterproof mascara. Within a minute or two, it was gone. All I did was rinse my face...spray it with some other organic toner I still have, and put my organic and lightening night cream on. My skin has changed so much since I started using this product. It is not as dry as it used to be at all. I don't wake up with leftover makeup residue. It really takes it all off and leaves you with silky smooth skin.
I also want to touch on the blotting papers. I have used blotting papers for awhile now to dab away any perspiration without ruining my makeup as well as dabbing any oily areas in my T-zone. I have been on a budget, so I grabbed the Sephora brand in Tea Tree and Lavender. Granted, I haven't gotten to the lavender pack let....but the Tea Tree ones are so strong that my purse reeks and I took them out weeks ago. I also found those to be a bit irritating to my eyes. Boscia sent me a pack of Green Tea blotting papers and I am in love! They have several other scents and I plan on purchasing all of them. I think every woman should have them in her purse or makeup bag and their car. I noticed that by using blotting papers, I don't have to touch up really and my makeup looks perfect. Some women reapply powder all day and end up looking cakey when the powder settles into their skin.
The scents Boscia offer are:
1) The Black Mask (This is very popular, a peel off mask, and usually sold out in stores, so try the site)
2) The Rose Blotting papers
3) The Passport to Beauty Kit called Comfort Cruise to Line-less Skin (Great for travel as well)
4) The Jujube Rejuvinist Body Cream (Whipped) Sounds soooo good!
5) Jujube Rejuvenist Amino Body Wash
6) Daily Hand Revival Therapy SPF 15 (this is an anti-aging product for your HANDS!)
That covers most of the catalog. I will be purchasing these products one by one as I run out of my others. This is my new go to skin care brand for pretty much everything!
I do think this are very reasonably priced skin care products considering what an amazing job they do for your skin. My oil was only $26 I believe, and it will last a long time. These products are made using botanical products. There is no animal testing, nor are there any animal ingredients within these products. As a vegetarian and member of Peta, I love this! There is an expiration date on the box of my oil and it is dated from 1 and a half years from when I bought it. So, I will be using this every night as a little goes a long way and I intend to use every drop!
You can follow Boscia Skin Care on Twitter @bosciaskincare and their website is listed as www.boscia.com. The company is located in my state! Woo hoo! I wonder if they would let me come down and take a tour of the plant! I would love that. I am so into that kind of stuff. Does that make me a geek? Oh well if it does, that is me! :)
Love you all and I hope you enjoyed this review! Please ask questions if you have any or let me know if you tried this product and what you thought about it! :)
XOXO

Shopping your own makeup collection
In these hard times, I think many of us sometimes may turn to shopping as an escape from our problems or concerns. I know that personally, if I am upset, for some reason I buy makeup and it instantly makes me feel better.
What I have been doing lately to try and save money is shopping my own makeup collection. Let me explain how I do this. I love watching youtube beauty tutorials (I have several favorite "gurus" I will discuss later). I also enjoy looking through magazines and various beauty books and trying to recreate looks.
Instead of going out to buy a pallet that people are using on youtube or makeup described in a book, I study the colors and look through my collection and find something comparable (or "dupes"). This has helped me save a lot of money in searching for some of the popular fall shades of eye makeup.
If for whatever reason you do not have many colors, there are a lot of options out there that are good and inexpensive options. For example, CoastalScents.com has a pallet of 88 shadows for only $25.00. One item I plan on purchasing from the company is their blush pallet which has 10 blushes for only $15.00. I may be off a few cents on each of the prices, but those are the general prices. There are a ton of pallets and I encourage you to look. This is a very inexpensive way to get good, quality shadows in a variety of shades without breaking the bank.
Also, If you are looking for makeup brushes and particularly if you know you already like MAC brushes, you should check out the sets of Sigma brushes. These are available on Sigmabeauty.com or by clicking on the banner to your right. For a approximately the same price of 3 MAC face brushes, you can get an entire set of 15 face, eye and lip brushes in a brush roll. Does it get better than that? I don't think so. :) I am a bargain hunter though.
I also recommend shopping at Sephora for any high end makeup you want/need because you earn points towards free gifts. I am embarrassed to say that this year I have earned several free gifts. :) However, I am not unhappy about it in the least. haha.
Let me know which looks you are liking or wanting to try, which colors you are interested in for fall and I will try and create some tutorials for you personally!

What I have been doing lately to try and save money is shopping my own makeup collection. Let me explain how I do this. I love watching youtube beauty tutorials (I have several favorite "gurus" I will discuss later). I also enjoy looking through magazines and various beauty books and trying to recreate looks.
